Self-Study Institute

The Applicant Assessment Team from the Middle States Commission of Higher Education gave a very positive report on its visit at the end of September. The Team further recommended the university to send two representatives to participate in the Institute of Self Study in Philadelphia on November 10-11, 2008.

Dr. Jin-Long Wang, Dean for Academic Affairs, and Ms. LeAnn Eyerman, Special Assistant to the Executive Vice President shared their observations from the Institute with key members of the university in its development of an appropriate self-study design. Ming Chuan University has passed the first two phases of its application for institutional accreditation with the Middle States Commission on Higher Education. The institutional self-study report is scheduled to be completed by the end of 2010. A comprehensive visit on the Self-Study Report is expected to take place in spring 2011.
